BAXTER SAW™ – MODEL 475HFA
FULLY AUTOMATIC BANDSAW
The model 475HFA is a fully automatic bandsaw. This machine can cut solids and grating. It has an extra large capacity of 18” (460mm) x 36” (915mm). Machine can cut solids using a large 1½” (41mm) blade driven by a 7½ hp (5 kW) motor.

- Fully-automatic cut cycle, consists of material advance, saw cut at end of cut the saw head will raise to top, repeat until parts counter decrements to 0
- Manual saw control, saw up, rapid saw down, saw cut, vises open/close, shuttle advance/retract
- Cutting feed rate hydraulically adjusted
- Load sensing valve which stops the feed if the blade starts to overload, typical when cutting the web of structural shapes.
- Full stroke hydraulic vises, with stationary vise retract of 1/2” to avoid interference with material.
- Top vises with replaceable heavy flexible strip to clamp uneven material
- Variable vise pressure.
- Discharge table 37” wide by 24” long
- Steel wheel with ductile iron hubs
- Blade guides are carbide faced with rollers to remove blade twist and dampen vibration
- Flood coolant system to both saw guides and separate nozzle to allow coolant to center of cut with adjustable flow rates
- High efficiency direct drive planetary gear drive system
- Electric system uses only C.S.A./UL approved components and is electrically approved
